WordPress Plugins Set no.1
WP-o-Matic
Here i wrote something about SimplePie. Your blog must meet SimplePie’s requirements in order to install WP-o-Matic. Practically SimplePie is used to parse the RSS feed, so it is crucial for this plugin to work. Basically this plugin automates the process of writing posts. New posts are generated based on the selected RSS feeds. You can choose from a wide range of options how will the plugin fetch the feeds. Replace words and/or expressions, links, even choose a template for your posts or maybe add some ads. There are plenty of options available in order to have a seamless integration. However i don’t know how will the posts generated by this plugin be regarded by Google. Will they be flagged as duplicate content ? I don’t know that for sure. You might want to check out the author’s page to find out. You might consider using this plugin when you go on vacation or something as i can’t figure out another plausible opportunity.

AdRotator
This is very similar to the script i came up with when i wanted to display random images in my sidebar. However AdRotator has been ported to WordPress (it can also be used as a standalone script) and can randomly display anything from images to flash or whatever the output of the code is (can be js, php, etc.).
WordPress Reports
“This plugin allows you to easily view your Google Analytics and Feedburner reports in your WordPress administration area.” Basically this plugin aggregates all your traffic and feed stats in one place. It’s pretty obvious that you’ll need a Google Analytics and Feedburner account before you can use this plugin. An interesting feature is the optional monitoring of your outbound traffic. Yet it includes a widget that displays your most popular posts (this feature might compete with Popularity Contest plugin by AlexKing). php_curl extension is required in order to use this plugin (if you don’t have it activated feel free to contact your hosting provider).

Gregarious
This is an interesting social bookmarking plugin. For the ones that know it, this can very well be a competitor for Sociable plugin. However this one offers a great deal of customization options and i may tend to think it’s little bit prettier. It has numerous features related to the most important social sites that help you establish a decent bookmarking enhancement.

Download Monitor
If you have some downloadable files on your blog you definitely might want to use this plugin. Download Monitor not only that it can be used to track download hits it also provides a friendly upload and management user interface. It also has some template tags that you might want to use when you want to display downloads-related information in the sidebar (recent, popular downloads, etc.). You can also take advantage of the template tags and go further with customizing the way the link to the file is shown.
