MyBlogLog has a new widget!
Today i landed on MyBlogLog’s website to view some information about my account and i discovered that they have a new widget available for tracking your blog visitors. So far it looks ok. You have the posibility of choosing between two styles: one or multiple columns and some colors: black, blue, brown, green, orange, purple and red. I think that it would have been better if you could have selected a custom color based on RGB.
However a new interesting feature is the flyout box that displays information about a certain reader if you move your mouse on top of his avatar. You can choose it’s position as well: left or right or none if you don’t want to display a flyout box at all.
Now, this seems to be the default widget as the following message is displayed when you view your account page:
If you want to use the old widget that’s fine because when you will change your mind you will can switch to the new one as this message appears in your “info box”:
New, shiny or not i’m no really into it so i think for the moment i’ll use the “old” and “crusty” widget.
The next step MyBlogLog should consider taking, is to create a new version of the “Top Links” widget as well.
Here is a picture with the new “Recent Readers” widget:
