When you sign up at PredictAd, after your account is confirmed you can choose to display ads from the following categories: all ads, only text ads, only image ads or only dedicated ads (or no ads at all). As far as i know there isn't an approval delay. For example after i confirmed my account all i needed to do was to log in and customize my search box. No, i didn't create a search engine, currently i am using the default Wordpress search function.
