This great tool lets you download all the latest Windows Updates released. Windows Updates Downloader is a neat, free program that’s most than useful when you don’t have time to wait for Windows Updates from your Windows to download all the hotfixes, patches, etc.

All you need to do is to download the program and install it. Afterwards you need to download the latest update list file (UL) from this site corresponding to your Windows version and platform. The downloaded UL file needs to be copied to the install directory of WUD. Run the newly downloaded file once and then start the program. From the drop-down box choose your UL.

I don’t know if the program uses download mirrors or not but i noticed that the download speed has significantly improved. You can download the updates in a well structured directory tree based on the products name and category. Also you can view a little description about each update.

I find this tool rather useful and interesting because now i can disable Automatic Updates from Windows and still be up to date with the latest fixes.
