Please explain because i’m not sure if you’re reffering to this article or the fact that this blog is viewed ok with Opera.
If it’s because of the “This blog is best viewed with FF 2″ warning, you got it all wrong.
I recomend using FF 2 because of some known issues with IE 6.
A few years back people recommended IE and a resolution of 1024×762. Back then it only showed their inability to code a decent page. I don’t think anything has changed in the mean time :D.
As you well know IE sucks bigtime at decoding some css. FF is a web browser that’s based on open standards while IE isn’t. The reason why IE is so spreaded is because Microsoft inserted it in Windows. It’s a crappy browser with a lot of security problems as well, etc.
I’m sure any web designer would agree that it’s fairly impossible to code a page that looks the same in IE, FF, Opera, Safari, etc.
Regarding your insinuation: load this page in IE and the only thing you’ll see different are some png pictures showing different than normal and some different padding issues.
Well, I guess I’m just pissed off by the Fx fan-boy attitude :D
IMO the place Fx stands today has been reached *only* by aggressive marketing, not by its features. Here in Linux I started Fx less than 10 times and I already had 3 “session restores” which only opened a blank tab. Besides that, one just can’t compare the start-up of Opera (20 tabs) with Fx start-up (a blank tab). It’s quite sad.
Sorry for the off-topic. I won’t respond here anymore. You may as-well delete everything said here - I won’t mind :D
Of course that’s your opinion. I’m not the guy that deletes comments if he doesn’t like them, please do comment if you have anything at all to say because it’s always nice to see others opinions.
I view this blog quite fine in Opera. You LIE!
