asRep – a script that generates AdSense reports
This article is mainly for the ones that are considering taking security measures concerning their AdSense ads. I like to look at this script from the security perspective because in this bussines you can’t do anything else but be informed and aware, as information is the most valuable thing you can posses. This script that i found out about is the perfect choice if you don’t want your AdSense account banned for invalid clicks or other stupid reasons as in case of such problems you would have counter-statistical information which with you could tackle the reason of your banning. What this script does is mainly generate reports so that you can see what happens with your AdSense Ads. Although this script does it’s job more than well it is highly recommended that you monitor your stats via AdSense native reports and if you think you spotted something fishy make sure you announce AdSense Support Department right away. Just to make yourself an ideea about the information available in your reports generated by AdSense program and the reports generated by asRep you can check this comparison table out.
This script seems to give you considerably more information about the activity on your pages than AdSense reports do. I will not get into that (at least not at the moment) as a trial version is available for download. The bad news consist in the fact that it’s just for testing and evaluating purposes and the good news are that you can use it as long as you want (i was figuring out that some kind of 30 days trial policy would be kind of difficult to apply to a script). So, the evaluation version is exactly the same all that differs from the full version is the information in your reports. The trial version reports ar limited to:
meanwhile reports generated by the full version include information about:
Another pleasant aspect is that you can “take the script for a spin” just to see how it behaves. The price for this script is 50$, rather decent i’d say.
So if you want to be kept informed about your AdSense ads at a top level asRep is the right choice.
